Raphaël Viard began his career with the French Ministry of the Interior. In 2005, he joined the Alstom group, where he worked for over ten years, rising from IT Security & Telecom Manager to, in 2015, CIO / Vice President IT Shared Service Centre. From 2016 to 2019, he was CTO at SNCF. Then, in 2019, he became Chief Digital & Information Officer of Saint-Gobain High Performance Solutions. In November 2024, he was appointed Chief Digital Officer of the Bouygues Construction group.

Raphaël Viard is a member of the Bouygues Construction Executive Committee.
