Sports facilities certified E4C2 and BBCA Excellence

This 4,279 m² sports and community complex, built by Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est in partnership with CRR Ecritures Architecturales, EGIS, CRR Ingénierie, Teckicea, ECIB Project, and ENGIE Solutions France, embodies a new generation of sustainable infrastructure.

The first sports facility in France to receive both E4C2 and BBCA Excellence certification, it stands out for its energy and environmental performance, which is among the highest in the sector:

  • Positive energy building: thanks to its bioclimatic design, high-level insulation, and 670 m² of photovoltaic panels on the roof, the sports complex produces more energy than it consumes. All the solar energy generated is directly consumed by the building.
  • Significant reduction in carbon footprint thanks to the extensive use of renewable, local, and bio-based materials : 603 m³ of glued laminated timber in the load-bearing structure ; 2,558 m² of timber frame walls positioned on the facades and filled with two types of insulation: 883 m² of wood wool and 1,675 m² of local straw.
