A cultural venue transformed into a modern performing arts facility
VCES, subsidiary of Bouygues Bâtiment International, delivered the transformation of the Letohrad Cultural Centre, converting an underused venue into a modern facility designed to support theatre, cinema and music performances for the local community.
The project included a complete renovation of the theatre auditorium and stage, with the replacement of all equipment and the full upgrade of audiovisual and projection technologies. The venue is now equipped with 3D cinema and surround sound systems, offering significantly improved performance conditions and audience experience.
A new multi-purpose dance hall was also created on the second above-ground level. Spanning 433 m², the space features an acoustic dividing wall allowing flexible use for rehearsals, classes and events. In addition, the project delivered a new 100-seat concert hall for the local art school, expanding the site’s cultural and educational role within Letohrad.
